A letter from Andriana Spence, Founder of Hank & JoJo

Hank & JoJo is a female-run company founded and solely operated by me, a mother of two, while I was taking care of my children at home. I am looking for like-minded stay at home moms or dads who are seeking to supplement their income by becoming a contract employee of Hank & JoJo!  I know more than most how rewarding and difficult at the same time it can be to raise children, especially when you see just how quickly your focus on career can be diverted!  Here is an opportunity for you to keep doing the amazing work you do at home, while earning some extra money on the side.  

I am looking for EXPERTS in your area in the children’s market. Do you know all the best places to shop for your kids?  Do you know exactly where to find that perfect baby shower gift? Are you sociable, interested in retail, and intuitive? That means you may just be the person for me!  I am looking to hire a number of Regional Sales Reps to wholesale the Hank & JoJo Brand to local small to mid-sized boutiques around the country.  You must be versed in the children’s market and have a great handle on all the fantastic stores in your surrounding area. You must have the obvious, including a home computer, internet connection, printer and vehicle.  You will work from home, but will be required to attend an online Staff Meeting every other week for progress reports from each territory.

Let’s get some things straight: There are no quotas. There is no time commitment.  It is your job to become friendly with these store owners and buyers, let them know what you have to offer and be there for them when they like what they see. You will do a lot of work over email and phone, but in-store visits are strongly encouraged and often necessary at the start of the relationship especially to show them the product in person.  Because of this, you must commit to traveling to at least one store in person per month. This is entirely commission-based, and you can work as little or as much as you please.  Obviously, the more business you do, the further our relationship will go, and promotions and percentage increases will be on the horizon.
